The Sifter

This 'beach' has been installed in the Truman Brewery just off Brick Lane, surely one of the epicentres of cool in London. Nothing like this was around when I lived in the area 7 years ago - the skanky old corner pub has now been renovated into a swanky bar, and there's a supermarket open as well. And a great cafe that does an all-day (charcoal!) BBQ...
